Wheaton | Bekins and Give Kids The World are thankful to WTHR, the Indianapolis NBC affiliate, for coming onsite to talk to us about the nonprofit and the fundraiser.
Attracting a Crowd
While the majority of the fundraising occurred on the corporate level, we also needed spectators to cheer on the competing teams and buy dinner at the onsite food trucks.
That's why part of the effort to raise money for Give Kids The World included garnering publicity such as the 4:30 to 7 am morning show on the Indy NBC affiliate.

Interview with our President
WTHR reporter Samantha Johnson interviewed with Wheaton | Bekins president A.J. Schneider on who we are and how we became connected with GKTW.
Truck Pull Demo
After the interview with Schneider, she interviewed our demo team. The segment finished up with truck pull demonstration by Matt Paxton and 10 members of the Wheaton | Bekins team: Chris Banguis, Ron Borkowski, Brenda Carter, Kevin Miller, April Milner, Paul Salmon, A.J. Schneider, Jaymie Shook, Justin Swing, and Brett Welch.
